  1. Login to Zoho Books here.
  2. On the top navigation bar click on the Single gear with solid fill icon.

  1. On the page that opens, scroll down to Module settings:

  1. On General, click on Customers and Vendors.

  1. On the General Tab, uncheck the ‘Allow duplicates for customer and vendor display name.’ check box.

  1. After validating that the checkbox is unchecked, click on save:
